Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park is located only a short drive from the Nairobi Business District, it is characterised with wide open grass plains with a beautiful backdrop of the city scrapers. Animals here include: buffaloes, giraffes , lions, leopards, baboons, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs and over 400 bird species.


Tsavo west national park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, it is located in the South East of Kenya near Voi Town in Taita–Taveta County. Animals here include: Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Elephant, Lion, Crocodile, Giraffe, Zebra, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, Nocturnal Porcupine and over 600 species of birds..


Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park is located on the northwest of Mt Kilimanjaro on the border of Tanzania, it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Animals here include: Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, Nocturnal Porcupine and over 600 species of birds.


Meru National Park

Meru National Park is one of the best known National Parks in Kenya, it is located on the east of Meru and 350 km from the Nairobi city. Animals here include: Leopard, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig, Hartebeest, Waterbuck,Grevy’s Zebra, Cheetah, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo and over 427 bird species.


Mount Kenya National Park & Reserve

Mount Kenya National Park & Reserve was established to protect Mt Kenya and the wildlife which surrounds it, It acts as a water catchment area and also a habitat for wild animals. Animal here include: Elephants, white tailed mongoose, suni, black fronted duiker, mole rat, bushbucks, tree hyrax, water buck Elands and over 130 bird species.


. Mount Elgon National Park

Mount Elgon National Park is located 140 kilometres northeast of Lake Victoria on the border of Kenya and Uganda. Animals here include: over 400 elephants and buffaloes, leopards, the colobus and blue monkeys, hogs, waterbucks and various species of antelope.


Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park was once known for its thousands of flamingos nesting along the shores but after the water levels started to rise all the flamingoes had to flee. Animals here include: both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and endangered Rothschild’s giraffes.
Hells Gate National Park
Hells Gate National Park lies south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, it is named after a narrow break in the cliffs which was once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed early humans in the Rift Valley. Animals here include: African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, baboons, klipspringer antelope, Chandler’s mountain reedbuck and over 100 species of birds.
Aberdare National Park

Aberdare National Park is a protected area in the Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya, it was created to protect the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains and surrounding wildlife. This Park has a difficult terrain due to its location in Kenya’s central highlands. Animals here include : African lions, leopards, baboons, Colobus monkeys and Sykes monkeys and over 250 bird species.


Mount Longonot National Park

Mount Longonot National Park is located southeast of Lake Naivasha on the floor of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. Its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges”. The crater rim of Mount Longonot provides great scenic views across the beautiful Rift Valley all the way to Lake Naivasha. Animals here include: Buffaloes, Gazelles, Impala and giraffe.

Kora National Park

Kora National Park is located in Tana River County in Kenya, it was the home of George Adamson for nearly 20 years. It was gazetted as a national park after the death of George Adamson by poachers in 1989. Animals here include: Hippo, leopard, lion, caracal and several antelope species.

Ndere Island National Park

Ndere Island National Park is in an island located on Lake Victoria, it is a haven for birds with over 100 different species of birds. Marsabit National Park & Reserve

Marsabit National Park & Reserve is a national park and nature reserve located at Mount Marsabit in the northern Kenya. Animals here include: Elephants, buffalo, greater/lesser Kudu, hyena, Grevy’s zebra, Kirk’s dik-dik, reticulated giraffe, lion, leopard, baboon and over 350 species of birds.

South Island National Park

South Island National Park is overed end to end in volcanic ash, the nightly glow of its South Island’s luminous vents has inspired numerous tales of ghosts and evil spirits. This island is home to a profusion of birdlife including 34 species of European migrants and at least 23 species breed here, including Goliath heron, and African skimmer, while African open-billed stork, Duck and Gulls feed on the shores and the volcanic island lakes attract lesser
flamingos.

Central Island National Park

Central Island National Park is a volcanic island located in the middle of Lake Turkana in Kenya, it is made up of three active volcanoes that belch sulphurous smoke and steam. It is of more than a dozen craters and cones, three of which are filled by small lakes.

Saiwa Swamp National Park

Saiwa Swamp National Park is the smallest national park in Kenya, it is located near Kitale, in Trans-Nzoia County. It is home to habitat of the rare and endangered semi-aquatic Sitatunga antelope and a haven for nature lovers.

Ruma National Park

Ruma National Park is the only terrestrial park in Kenya’s Nyanza Province, it is also a home to the endangered Roan Antelope. At present, the population of Roan Antelopes is on the verge of extinction with the populations numbering approximately 40.

Sibiloi National Park

Sibiloi National Park is located on the northeastern shore of Lake Turkana in northern Kenya and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Animals here include; zebras, Grant gazelles, lions, leopards, stripped hyenas, Beisa Oryx, greater kudu, cheetahs and northern topi and many more.

Donyo Sabuk National Park

Donyo Sabuk National Park is located in an adjacent small town near Thika in Kenya. It was named by Maasai pastoralists, meaning big mountain.This place is popular for one-day trips out of Nairobi. Ndere Island National Park

Ndere Island National Park is in a small island in Winam Gulf of Lake Victoria in Kenya. This island is a haven for birds that is covered mostly in grass providing a beautiful and scenic view of the Homa hills. Animals here include; African fish eagles, swifts, hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles and about fifty impalas have been introduced to the island.


Chyulu Hills National Park

The Chyulu Hills is a mountain range in Makeuni County in Kenya which boasts some of the deepest known lava tube caves in the world. Animals here include: buffalo, bushbucks, elands, elephants, leopards, giant forest hogs, bush pigs, reedbucks and giraffes along with various reptiles and insects.
